The AQUARION ionized water system, through a multiple-stage filtering process, helps remove impurities and toxins, such as heavy metals, chlorine and pesticides from tap water. Unlike traditional filtering devices, however, it allows you to adjust the pH of your water. It does this by exploiting the natural electrical charge of the calcium and magnesium ions present in water, to shift the pH balance of the filtered water to either alkaline or acidic.
